2024 10K and 5K in Santa Barbara

On Saturday, October 12th, KLM is hosting a 10K and 5K in Santa Barbara, California. We have a great weekend planned full of wine and fun activities. We are asking for a $350/person minimum fundraising commitment.

RACE / RUN / WALK - ENJOY!

We will offer a 5K or 10K loop along the beach in Santa Barbara. The run will start at approximately 7:30am (to be confirmed) at Leadbetter Beach in Santa Barbara. The race will run along the boardwalk / bike path from Leadbetter, past the wharf, past the pier, along West Beach and East Beach all the way to the Andree Clark bird refuge. It is roughly a 10k loop, out and back, so people are welcome to run the whole thing, run part of the loop, walk, or as always, skip the workout portion and go straight from breakfast to wine tasting instead!

FUNDRAISING

As always, we're asking for a $350 / runner minimum fundraising commitment / donation to KLM. For folks who don't plan to participate in the race and only come to the dinner, we'd ask for a $250 / person commitment or donation. Proceeds go to KLM and to fund our incredible students in South Africa. As many of you know, the situation in South Africa has been extremely difficult, but our students continue to thrive and we look forward to introducing you to some of them through the next couple of months. We raised over $60,000 for our event last year and as a team are hoping to reach $60,000 again this year.
